Do Not Sell
Do Not Sell or Share My Info
Last updated: 2026-08-22
Residents of California (under the CCPA/CPRA) and of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws can opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. This page explains the position at Peelandplank and the routes available.
What to Expect
Opting out stops the sharing of advertising identifiers; it does not remove advertising from the site. You may still see ads, but they will be generic rather than selected from your browsing history. Nothing else about the site changes, and we do not degrade access or withhold content because you opted out.
What Is Actually Involved
There is no monetary sale of personal information by Peelandplank. The practice that engages this right is narrower — where ads are served, advertising and cookie identifiers may be shared with ad partners. Given how broadly the statutes define ‘sale’ and ‘share’, we assume it counts and provide the opt-out.
This holds for all readers of peelandplank.com, whether they have interacted with us or not.
How to Opt Out
The automatic route is Global Privacy Control: enable it in your browser and this site respects it on every visit without you asking. Manual routes are the consent banner, where one is presented, and email to hello@peelandplank.com with ‘Do Not Sell or Share’ in the subject. No account or registration is needed.
For the wider set of state-law rights — access, correction, deletion, portability — see the State Privacy Notice.
